Oxbow Public Market

Posted By jane On March 29, 2010 @ 12:47 pm In | 1 Comment

Founded by the same people who opened the Ferry Building Market [1] in San Francisco, Oxbow Public Market has delicious offerings for both the tourist looking for a nibble or a souvenir as well as the local resident simply picking up groceries. Try Venezuelan pulled pork arepas (gluten- and wheat-free) at Pica Pica Maize Bar, a Niman Ranch burger at Gott’s Roadside (formerly Taylor’s Refresher, pictured above), or a glass of wine and a cheese plate from Oxbow Wine & Cheese Merchants on the patio overlooking the Napa River. Afterward, take home charcuterie from the Fatted Calf, marinated skirt steak (antibiotic- and hormone-free) from Five Dot Ranch, or a sweet treat from Kara’s Cupcakes.
